AERO MAVERICKS
UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT ARLINGTON
The Aero Mavericks at the University of Texas at Arlington is a student organization dedicated to designing, building, testing, and flying rockets and fixed-wing aircraft. People of all majors are welcomed to join this student organization, with no prior knowledge required. 
Divisions
The Aero Mavericks consists of three divisions: Rocketry, Fixed-Wing, and Liquid Rocket Engine. The Rocketry division (est 2008) designs and builds composite rockets for competitions similar to IREC at Spaceport America. The Fixed-Wing division (est 2012) designs and builds RC aircraft for competitions similar to SAE Aero Design. The Liquid Rocket Engine division (est 2016) currently is designing a liquid fueled rocket engine that would one day reach the Karman line.
